Moving to New Orleans from out of town, Murray & Whitney were ready to make the jump and buy their first home! After interviewing two other agents, they found Joel Picolo through Zillow and met up for a Buyer’s Consultation! Joel asked what their home goals were and what exactly they were looking for in a home. Whitney and Murray desired a 3 bed/2 bathroom home, with an open living and kitchen floor plan and a backyard that would be perfect for entertaining friends and family. The cherry on top would be that it was also nearby a park! Above all, they wanted to make sure they would be making a good investment, as well as find the home that best fit their lifestyle.
Now Murray and Whitney were still in a lease, 4-5 months to be exact, and they told Joel that they were not in a rush. He still asked that if he did find their dream house would they make an offer? They said “Nope!” This is where it gets interesting…
Joel started to send them properties the next day but nothing was really sticking. They sent Joel a picture of what their dream house looked like, and he was determined to find it for them. The very next morning, a new listing hit the market and not only did it look exactly like the picture they had sent, but it had everything they wanted on their list!
So they figured out a plan for their lease and ended up writing an offer! They were in a multiple offer situation, but with Joel’s expertise, they got the house under contract and sold!
